La Trobe Lifeskills commenced at La Trobe University in 1998. Since then Lifeskills has grown from a very small organisation providing programs for approximately 5 people with a disability, to a point where it now has between 65-70 people attending daily.

Lifeskills is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO #20791) providing a growing range of accredited courses, such as: Certificate I in Transition Education; Certificat I in Vocational Preparation; Certificate I in Work Education; Certificate I in Business; Certificate I in Hospitality; Certificate II in Kitchen Operations, as well as a range of non accredited programs which include: recreation and leisure activities; art and craft options (including art exhibitions); music and drama; independent living skills training; involvement in community projects; work training and support; annual events e.g. a camp, formal dinner dance etc.

Lifeskills is based at La Trobe University Bundoora and Bendigo campuses, which means that participants can take full advantage of campus life plus being a part of the University community and the activities that occur at these locations.

Lifeskills utilises teaching facilities on the La Trobe University campus, including the sports centre (SARA), computer laboratories and a range of other Univeristy resources.

We invite you to come and visit Lifeskills, and see for yourself, the facilities, the delightful setting, and talk to the Participants who attend Lifeskills.
